Canadian Petroleum Interpretive Centre

This National Historic Site tells the story of the 1947 discovery and development of the oil industry in the area. Visitors can climb to the floor of a 1950s drilling rig and walk through an authentic “battery” of field equipment.

Site is open year round. Interpretive centre open summer only.

The hours of operation are from 9am to 5pm (Monday to Friday) from April 15 - September 15.

Senior (65+ yrs) $4
Youth (6-18 yrs) $3
Family $13

Wheelchair accessible. 2 km south of Devon on Hwy 60. .
