Basilian Fathers Museum

In 1902, at Beaver Lake, near today’s Mundare, the first Basilian Fathers arrived from Ukraine to work among the Ukrainians who had begun to settle in Canada in 1891. One hundred years later, the Basilians opened this new museum as a memorial to the pioneers and a symbol of continued dedication to Ukrainian cultural heritage.

Open year round: Mon-Fri 10-4. Weekends 1-5 during the summer only. Admission by donation. Wheelchair accessible. Giftshop. Mundare is a 45-minute drive east of Edmonton on Hwy 16..
