The Alix Wagon Wheel Regional Museum is located on Main Street, Alix. The hours of operation are July to August, Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.. In September, October, and April to June the hours are 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday and Saturday. All other times are by appointment. The governing authority is the Alix Wagon Wheel Museum Association and there is no admission fee though donations are gratefully accepted.
The collection at the museum includes artifacts of local interest and use, natural history artifacts, varied kinds of tools, and some archives and photographs. There are seasonal and topical displays, art displays, and a permanent Special Legion display. The museum celebrates Fathers Day with a Fathers Day Tea and Bake Sale.
The Alix Wagon Wheel Regional Museum does not currently offer specific education programs, however tours are always available for students. Contact the museum for further information.
