The Donalda & District Museum is located at 5001 Railway Avenue and Main Street, Donalda. The hours of operation are from the Victoria Day weekend to Thanksgiving, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m on weekends. All other times are by appointment. The governing authority is the Donalda & District Museum Board. The cost of admission is $1.00 for adults and seniors, and children 14 and under are free.
The collection at the museum includes a variety of over 850 lamps, such as kerosene, Parlour, Aladdin, and others. There are several area pioneer artifacts, including a mouse-proof kitchen cabinet, advertising tins, salt and pepper shakers, and native artifacts.
Donalda & District Museum offers an educational tour on the Evolution of Lighting for all grade levels. Antique artifact matching games and the Whats It? quiz are offered for enjoyment. Tours of the museum, the creamery, and the train station are all available, although the train station and creamery tours are seasonal.
