Fort Ostell Museum

The Fort Ostell Museum is located at Centennial Park, Ponoka. The hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. from May 1 to August 31; and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends and holidays. Other times can be arranged by appointment. The governing authority is the Fort Ostell Museum Society. We suggest an admission fee of Adults $2.00, 7 and over $1.00, 6 and under Free, Families $5.00.

The collection at the museum includes local historical artifacts and memorabilia from the early 1900's, including a country store, classroom, and child’s bedroom. The museum presents art shows, traveling and temporary exhibits, and tours.

The Fort Ostell Museum does not currently offer specific education programs, however we strive to accommodate requests and tours are always available for students. Contact the museum for further information.
