Michener House Museum

The Michener House is located at 5036-51 Street, Lacombe, Alberta. Open mid May to end of September Mon. to Sat. hours 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Open by appointment Oct. to mid May. The governing authority is the Maski-Pitoon Historical Society. There is no admission fee however donations are gratefully accepted. The collection at the museum includes a display of period artifacts of Rt. Hon. Roland Michener, Governor General of Canada (1967-74), a pictorial collections and an archival collection and blacksmith site and collection.

Some of the museum activities include a blacksmith demonstration, and various summer events such as Senior tours, School tours, Special displays, Pancake Breakfast with Antique Auto Club in conjunction with Garage Sale.
