Mountain View Museum

The Mountain View Museum is located at 5038 - 50 Street in Olds. The hours of operation are 9 to 5 Monday to Friday in July and August, and 1 to 5 Tuesday to Thursday from September to June. The governing authority is the Olds Historical Society. There is no admission fee though donations are gratefully accepted.

The collection at the Mountain View museum includes artifacts that reflect the history of Olds and surrounding area. Every year there are personalized school and group tours, and special demonstrations of pioneer activities at the local fair. There is a research centre available for students working on projects such as Heritage Fair. The research centre is available for visitors seeking information on family history; there is also a display at the museum featuring local artists.

The Mountain View Museum does not currently offer specific education programs; however, tours are always available for students, and those interested in doing research are welcome. Contact the museum for further information.
