Heritage Hall, SAIT

Originally known as Alberta Provincial Institute of Technology and Art, this was Calgary’s most important post secondary education building for fifty years. It was designed by the Provincial Architect R.P. Blakey in the Collegiate Gothic style and opened in 1921. It was designated a Provincial Historic Resource in 1985 and a National Historic Site in 1987.
