The Nose Creek Valley Museum is located at 1701 Main Street South in Airdrie. The museum hours are 10 to 5 on weekdays from June to August, 1 to 5 on weekdays from September to May, and 1 to 5 on weekends all year. The governing authority of the museum is the Nose Creek Valley Museum Society. The cost of admission is $2.00 for adults and seniors, and children under 12 get in free. For a group of 15 or more the cost is $1.00 each or a donation as a group. Bus tours are $25.00 per bus.
The collection at the museum includes area farming and ranching history, along with settlement and growth. There is a natural history and geological display, a fossil display and a Native North American history collection. There is local history information, including a farmhouse, and merchant and blacksmith interiors. There are farm and antique automobiles and equipment, local military artifacts, and a caboose and rails with rail car. There is also a WWII Nose art aircraft and a 4-H display. The museum activities include ongoing research and collection of artifacts and archival materials, the restoration of farm equipment and antique automobiles, ongoing Artist Guild displays, sales of handcrafted garden furniture and local history books, and periodic art shows and displays.
