Join the Calgary Science Centre in a world of discovery and imagination! See some of the world’s finest interactive science displays and exhibits, including extraordinary and exciting feature exhibits from around the world. The centre’s staff and volunteers invite you and your family to become involved in the hands-on displays. As well, the science demonstrations will delight you as you discover the answers to such chemistry questions
as the connection between liquid nitrogen and making dessert.

The newly renovated Discovery Dome multimedia theatre features technology unlike any theatre of its kind in North America. Computer graphics, motion picture images, slides that cover the entire domed ceiling and a sound system that is “out of this world” treat visitors to the experience of a lifetime! Super 70mm films and the science centre’s own multimedia productions will take you on a 3D adventure into the wonders of science.
