The Red Deer River Valley has yielded marvellous fossils, many of which are displayed at this museum, including a 30-foot-long (9 m) skeleton of the duck-billed dinosaur Edmontosaurus. Other exhibits feature Aboriginal artifacts, coal mining technology, and the L.A. Duncan Room, with its exotic and rare objects of natural science and art.
